Back in the saddle...

I finally got back on my bike again after a month off (surgery, doctors orders, crappy weather, yada… yada… yada…).

Since the monsoon rains yesterday washed off the roads--they weren’t salty--so I took an hour or so spin around the neighborhood - Man it felt good!

Noroton River (off Omega Drive)
A little more water here now since my deer encounter

  1. That's great Rich! We should plan a ride later this year to explore the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail and work in the South County Trail Way and Old Put Trail.

I was working on my Tri State Gravle Roads Yahoo map https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=zsRTfVpmkicw.kKIWxOsXAYmA when found what would amount to an awesome loop! It's 60 miles so let me know when you are ready to do that kind of ride and let's do it! Here is the route on Ride with GPS: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/6865162

    1. Thanks Mark - your Gravle Roads Yahoo map is looking awesome and yes I would love to explore the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail. The 60 mile loop looks great - I will definitely like to join you for that. Let’s wait until March or so when the snow all hopefully will be gone!

      PS
I pout together another the page on the Shepaug (Hawleyville to Bethel) you might enjoy.

  2. We should also do a ride from Bethel to Litchfield sometime to trace the Shepaug. There are some real cool stuff to see along the way, some of which I see every day when I ride to work!
